FAQs

Can physiotherapy help my pregnancy pelvic pain?

Yes! With pain relief options limited during pregnancy, physiotherapy is definitely a number 1 choice to try! There is a lot of research out there that confirms physiotherapy is an effective treatment for pelvic girdle pain, back pain and sciatica during pregnancy.

Do you offer pregnancy massage?

Yes we do! A full 90 minutes of bliss! It involves a full body massage including the head, face and bump. It helps to reduce stress and anxiety, tension within the muscles, boost the immune system and reduce puffiness. What a wonderful gift to yourself or a loved one.

Can you help my caesarean scar?

Yes! We offer specialist scar treatment sessions. These are designed to improve the sensation, flexibility and visibility of your scar. We also sell scar products to help you with your journey.

I'm due to go on maternity leave, have you got any cost saving offers?

Yes! We offer The Motherhood journey package. This is a package that can be bought in advance which consists of:

- The Mummy MOT

Yes we can! We are specially trained in providing acupuncture to help reduce pain, reduce muscle tension and even for induction of labour for overdue ladies. Our quickest result was 6 hours after our appointment!

Whats a Mummy MOT?

A Mummy MOT is a thorough postnatal assessment. We have a full hour to go through any worries or concerns such as:

- Aches and pains

- Bladder worries

- Intimacy concerns

- Prolapse worries

- Scar treatments

- Tummy gap concerns

We assess you from head to toe and provide you with a report of findings and tonnes of resources to help you along your way.

Breast health: How does physiotherapy help?

We are one of the few specialists in the area that can treat breastfeeding breast related issues such as blocked ducts and mastitis. We usually resolve the issue in 3-5 days or less! With other countries like Australia and France offering this treatment as standard, it is still a growing area within the UK.

I went to see Emily because I was in agony with sore hips during my third trimester. She was an absolute miracle worker and sorted them out so I could actually get some sleep! She also sorted out a host of other pregnancy ailments I had!

I cannot recommend Emily highly enough! She certainly knows her stuff, both ante and postnatal, and is also really lovely! It was very comforting knowing that she knew exactly what she was doing! I wish I had known about her during my first pregnancy
