Postnatal Pilates

The best way to get back to exercise in a safe and effective way after childbirth

Had some post-natal pilates sessions with Emily and it was so fantastic. She took a lot of care to explain about various aspects of body repair following birth, answering the any questions we had, and I've been able to use the pelvic floor exercises regularly since. The pilates was the right balance of calming but challenging enough to get me on track for getting my strength back to where it was. Highly recommend!

What to expect

What is postnatal pilates?

It is a gentle class about engaging your core and pelvic floor. Research shows pilates is the BEST way of getting back to exercise after child birth

How many are in the class?

We have small classes of up to 8 people + all the beautiful babies!

Who is the class for?

This class is for anyone that has had a baby! You are welcome to join from 6 weeks post birth for vaginal births, and 12 weeks post caesarean birth.

​

Who is running the class?

Emily, our award winning physiotherapist is running the class.
