What is a dietitian?

A dietitian is a medical professional that takes nutrition to the next level. They can support both healthy individuals with lifestyle concerns along with medical problems such as diabetes, IBS, Cholesterol problems etc. They have completed extensive degree level training and multiple additional courses to keep up to date with the latest research. 

Is nutritional support available for pregnant/postnatal clients?

Yes absolutely! Our inhouse dietitian has specialised in treating pregnancy/postnatal concerns such as:

  • Preparing for conception and pregnancy.

  • Managing pregnancy symptoms like morning sickness, nausea, vomiting, constipation, reflux.

  • Reducing the risk of certain pregnancy complications like gestational diabetes and pre-eclampsia.

  • Healthy pregnancy weight gain.

  • Eating a balanced diet to meet nutrient requirements in each trimester.

  • Nutrition to optimise baby’s growth and development.

  • Following food safety advice for pregnancy.

  • Supporting postpartum wound healing, constipation and nutrient repletion.

  • Nutrition to support breastfeeding.

What types of conditions can we help with?

What does a session entail?

An initial assessment is a full hour long focusing on your goal. It will include going through food diaries, learning about your lifestyle and providing an extensive personalised treatment plan, to get you closer to your goal.
